Barbara Bridge – President

Barbara Bridge is the President and owner of Maryland Marketing Source and Bay Area Research and has been in the industry since 1978. As President, Barbara assumes all duties pertaining to day-to-day operations as well as overseeing all research projects. Her professionalism and accomplishments have allowed Maryland Marketing Source, Inc. to continuously grow and expand, keeping up with technological and methodological advancements. Prior to her career in market research, Barbara acquired extensive business experience in the manufacturing and investment industries. Her educational background in sociology and mathematics contributes to her ability to work with diverse populations and utilize sharp analytical skills. Barbara is a member of the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA).


Christopher Spara – Vice-President

Christopher Spara joined the company in 2001 and is knowledgeable in all phases of the research process. His ability to use technology as a springboard for advanced quality data collection has helped MMS adapt and grow, remaining on the cutting edge of the market research industry. He has experience with a variety of research methodologies, and works with clients to coordinate, schedule, and implement all phases of our survey research projects from pre-production through final presentation. Christopher graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and is a member and the past President of the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Marketing Research Association (MRA), as well as a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA).


Michelle Finzel, M.A. – Vice President, Full Service Research

Michelle Finzel rejoined MMS in 2004 and is responsible for overseeing all Full Service research projects. Michelle’s goals are to blend theory and practice, emotions with insights, and numbers with words. She is a RIVA trained focus group moderator and is experienced with qualitative and quantitative research methods, analysis, reporting, and presentation, including focus groups, telephone interviews, intercepts, mediation, and in-depth interviews. Michelle graduated from West Chester University with a Master of Arts degree and from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Both degrees are in Communication Studies. She has served on the board of the Baltimore Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and is also a member of the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA).

Lawrence Siegel. – Director of Quantitative Research

Larry Siegel joined Maryland Marketing Source, Inc. as Director of Quantitative Research in January 2009 where he directs all aspects of custom-designed quantitative research projects. Larry has over 30 years of experience in market research, working the past 25 years at the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. Larry is proficient in all phases of market research methodology, and during his career has developed and directed market research projects covering a number of topic areas, including customer satisfaction, company image, customer expectations, performance evaluation, communications concept testing, advertising awareness and impact tracking, and customer interest in new products and services. He has also developed models to measure customer satisfaction and brand health. Larry graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 1970 and from the Pennsylvania State University with a Masters Degree in Sociology in 1973.
